What We Fund

Who We Fund

We fund project-specific work led by registered charitable organizations in the U.S. (501(c)(3)) and Canada that align with our mission to expand the Palestinian solidarity movement.

Projects We Fund

IDAH funds advocacy projects. We value the essential work carried out by Palestinian relief organizations, but advocacy is our space. The advocacy efforts we support are built around meaningful effective tactics. By tactic, we mean specifically how a project will be implemented, and not the goal(s) of the project. The tactic can be an untried new idea or an underfunded effort that is underway. Either way, it must show meaningful potential to achieve change. We are drawn to tactics that:

  • move outsiders and disengaged individuals toward action to support Palestinians
  • disrupt the false narrative promulgated by western media and politicians
  • educate the general public to Israel’s indefensible behaviours and activities
  • otherwise hold promise for effective change

IDAH factors for selecting projects are focused around the likelihood for success, threats to success, the total budget request from both IDAH and other funding resources and, of course, specific details of the tactic’s execution.

Our Process

STEP 1

Initiate

We fund projects in two ways:

  • We may initiate an idea and seek a partner to bring it to life.
  • Or, we fund ideas proposed to us that align with our mission.
  •
STEP 2

Contact

Do you have a project that fits our mission? Start by sending us a brief summary of your idea and your organization.

STEP 3

Meet

If it looks like a match, we’ll reach out to set up a first meeting to learn more.

STEP 4

Submit Proposal

If there’s alignment after our meeting, we’ll invite you to submit a proposal including key deliverables, timeline, and budget.

STEP 5

Review

We’ll review your proposal and may ask for revisions, additional information, or follow-up conversations to clarify details.

STEP 6

Fund

If approved, we’ll finalize a memorandum of understanding and disburse the funds.
